Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
As a CNC Machinist I, you will learn to operate CNC equipment while developing foundational machining skills. You will support production by following defined procedures and working closely with more experienced machinists and engineers.
Responsibilities- Operate HMC, mill‑turn, grinder, or balancer machines under supervision; seek assistance when encountering operational issues.
- Follow standard safety protocols and quality procedures.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area in alignment with 6S principles.
- Collaborate with Cell Support Engineers and Team Leaders to identify and resolve basic issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs.
- 0–3 years of machining experience or technical education/certification in CNC machining.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and receive feedback.

Physical DemandsThis role requires precision handling of tools and machinery, often in a manufacturing setting with prolonged physical engagement. Hand and finger use involve steady, dexterous manipulation for most of the shift. Standing is continuous for the majority of the day, with occasional movement to position materials. Lifting and carrying involves general coordination but no specific weight limits are detailed. Bending or twisting the body occurs less than half the time.
Repetitive motions are performed continuously during machine operation. Environmental factors include exposure to hazardous equipment, contaminants, noise, and the need to wear protective gear daily.
