Your role as a Production AssemblerAs a new Production Assembler at P&G Steel Products Co Inc, you can expect to engage in various tasks that ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include assembling steel products according to detailed specifications and blueprints, operating machinery and tools safely while maintaining a clean and organized workstation, performing quality checks on completed assemblies, and collaborating with team members.
You will also participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and adapt to new technologies. Following safety protocols diligently is crucial to maintaining a secure work environment. Your role will contribute significantly to our commitment to innovation and excellence in manufacturing.

A solid understanding of basic mechanical principles, manual dexterity, good hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to work well under pressure while meeting production deadlines are essential.
Job Description- Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, or parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
- Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tapes, rulers, and pressure gauges.
- Assembles components, examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Performs visual inspection of raw materials and products using magnifiers and microscopes.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
- Uses grinding equipment to ensure proper tolerance and finish.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED with three to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret electronic/hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and engineering and weld drawings (plus). Strong general math skills, and ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hearing adequate for job duties; speaking clearly; visual acuity adequate. Requires frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting. Manual dexterity needed for tool use and parts handling.
