CNC Machinist III-2nd Shift

Salary Range: $28.85 – $47.60 hourly. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

CNC Machinist III is a highly skilled professional responsible for advanced machining operations, mentoring others, and contributing to technical problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires leadership, deep technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill‑turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
• Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root‑cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders when technical issues arise.
• Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.
• Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups as needed.

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
• Strong communication skills and experience in cross‑functional collaboration.

• Hand and Finger Use/Dexterity – continuous handling, controlling, and manipulating of tools and parts (≈89% of the time) with high dexterity and steadiness.
• Standing/Walking – continuous upright position (≈62% of the time) with occasional traversing to move materials.
• Moving Objects/Lifting/Carrying – frequent movement of materials and tools, requiring coordination but no specific weight limits.
• Bending/Twisting/Reaching – less than half the time (≈31%) with moderate flexibility.
• Repetitive Motions – continuous or almost continuous repetitive actions (≈46% of the time) demanding sustained machine control.
• Environmental Factors – exposure to hazardous equipment, contaminants, and noise with protective equipment worn daily (≈94% of the time).
