Operator Turret Machine

Machine Operator – Turret Machine (Second Shift, 10‑hour evening/night)

Responsible for set‑up and operation of turret equipment to punch and prepare material for job orders consistent with customer requirements.

• 40 hours per week or more
• Monday‑Thursday: 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
• Friday: 4:00 pm – 2:30 am (10 hours)
• Saturday: 11:30 am – 5:30 pm (6 hours)
• Overtime as needed

• Review job orders to determine customer specifications.
• Set up turret; turn on machine, water power, hydraulics; reset machine to zero.
• Modify computer programs to meet job specifications on a regular basis.
• Set up tooling specifications.
• Perform incoming inspection on sheared material prior to punching; document non‑conforming material and seek clearance from Lead person or Management.
• Operate turret, maintaining production tempo and quality standards.
• Perform first‑piece inspection on newly punched material to ensure quality.
• Deliver finished product to next operation within the cell.
• Order tooling parts coordinated with CAD as needed.
• Work as part of the team; continuously seek to eliminate non‑value added processes and waste.
• Implement and sustain 5S program.
• Perform autonomous maintenance on equipment.
• Work safely, using all required personal protective equipment.
• Assist in all other areas of the cell; maintain flexibility to transfer to other cells when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Lead person or Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small hand tools.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.

$18.00 – $24.00 per hour.
