Buffalo, CCL – Press Operator Trainee – $19–$21 per hour – 2nd Shift.
Job Summary & RequirementsThe Press Operator Trainee (Press Helper) assists Press Operators in the setup and operation of equipment following CCL’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities- Assist Press Operator by ensuring they have the proper material and supplies.
- Help set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens.
- Ensure rolls of raw material are mounted on the unwind shaft during production run.
- Perform total preventive maintenance on the press and all equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge
- Analytical thinking
- Eagerness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Dependable and dedicated
- Task orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
- Moving objects up to 50 pounds.
