Salary Range: $63,000.00 To $67,000.00 Annually
Manufacturing Production SupervisorExempt $63 to $67k. (Negotiable depending on Experience) Shift is 8am – 4:30pm
SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider supplying OEM’s with printed circuit board and electromechanical assemblies, is looking for a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to support SoPark’s day shift production employees and overlap with the second shift employees.
Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will be a vital link between the leadership team and the frontline workforce to ensure that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to our quality standards by supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Coordinate with HR to resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Optimize production efficiency by analyzing workflow and processes.
- Conduct 30/60/90-day reviews for new hires
- Conduct Annual reviews
- Essures ompliance with all quality standards such as ISO
9001, AS9100, and ISO
13485. - Ensure that production schedules are met. Establishes or adjusts work assignments to meet production schedules. Coordinate workforce requirements with Director of Operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees.
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations. Works with subordinates and human resources to discuss and eliminate problems.
- Resolve any production issues and liaise with other departments such as quality assurance, engineering, and purchasing to implement corrective actions.
- Manage departmental performance measures and provide regular progress reports to Upper management.
Minimum of an Associate degree with 3 years supervisory experience or 5+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills required- Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Access, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Organizational skills
- Regularly required to sit for extended periods
- Have good hand dexterity and ability to reach with hands/arms.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, talk, and hear.
- Must be able to lift/move up to ten pounds.
- Noise level in the workplace environment is usually low to moderate.
