Moog is seeking a Finisher I to support 3rd Shift operations in our Military Aircraft Group.Finishing is a critical step in the manufacturing process, ensuring that precision aerospace components meet quality, safety, and performance requirements before moving to inspection and assembly. Finisher I employees remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections that could impact product reliability, proper assembly, or long-term performance. Their work serves as a vital quality checkpoint, helping to ensure that parts are safe, functional, and ready for use in demanding military applications.

This position is eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus. To qualify, candidates must submit their application between July 20, 2026, and September 11, 2026, and is subject to the terms of the bonus agreement.
To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:- High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- At least 3 months of related experience which should include experience deburring and/or finishing, in a machine shop environment
- In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.
- Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to ensure parts meet engineering and quality specifications.
- Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect product performance or compliance with specifications.
- Support product durability and longevity by ensuring components are properly finished before moving to inspection or assembly.
- Help prevent structural failures and assembly issues by ensuring parts are free of excess material and manufacturing defects.
- Prepare parts for the next stage of production by ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
- Extensive hands-on training from experienced team members.
- Instruction on aerospace manufacturing standards, finishing techniques, inspection methods, and quality requirements.
