** Job Summary
** The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.
** Schedule M-F 7:00am-3:30pm*
* ** Principle Duties and Responsibilities
*** Counts and tracks physical inventory
* Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
* Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
* Records inventory counts in the accounting system
* Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections
* Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls
* Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
* Performs other duties as required
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma
* Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
* Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
* Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
* Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species
* Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures
* Must be at least 18 years of age###
** Hourly Pay Range:**$20.00-$25.00 hourly- dependent on experience pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
** Bonus/Incentive Pay**:
Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses.
A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
