Responsibilities
- Perform chemical refining of precious scrap in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Care for and maintain refinery equipment and ensure safe handling of chemicals.
- Safely receive and store chemicals from deliveries and replenish emptied containers.
- Monitor pollution control equipment to assure compliance with air and water discharge regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred background in chemical processing.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage procedures.
$22.00 - $31.00 per hour (actual base salary varies based on factors such as skill, experience, education, location, and internal peer comparisons).
Export ComplianceThe selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent upon export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology, which falls under ITAR and EAR. The candidate selected must qualify as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee or refugee, a national of a non-prohibited country (via letter of assurance), or a person approved for an export license.
