Job Purpose:
- The CNC Programmer at CONAX TECHNOLOGIES LLC is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient and precise machining processes. This role is crucial in enhancing production capabilities and maintaining high-quality standards in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring optimal tool paths and cycle times.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct simulations and tests to verify program accuracy and efficiency before implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs and revisions for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC programming and machining technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to machine operators to ensure proper execution of CNC programs.
- Implement continuous improvements to enhance machining processes and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during programming and machining operations.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate degree or vocational training in CNC programming, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
- Proven experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC machinery.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a precision machining setting.

Skills and Abilities

:

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming languages, such as G-code.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC equipment and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and other departments.

Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
