CNC Machinist
Hagner Industries is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Buffalo, NY. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and inspecting CNC equipment to produce precision parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements.
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform program edits and offsets as needed to maintain part quality.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other measuring tools.
- Maintain equipment, work area, and production records.
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and safety requirements.
- Deburr, clean and stack parts neatly
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Familiarity with CNC set-ups, tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Deburr finished parts, clean components to quality standards, organize & stack materials neatly for storage or shipment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Mazak, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls.
- Knowledge of tight-tolerance machining.
- Basic understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to support multiple machines and priorities in a fast-paced shop.
