Operations Manager

Materion Corporation seeks an Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing activities in our advanced materials facility. This role oversees production scheduling, safety, quality, and cost performance while driving lean and continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage and develop production teams, collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality, and ensure compliance with rigorous safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
• Manage production schedules, resources, and workforce to ensure on-time customer delivery
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Track KPIs, analyze performance data, and drive corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve production issues
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage production staff and frontline supervisors
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization efforts
