What you will enjoy doing*
- You will providea high standard of Customer Service while delivering, which includes unloading of products and movement to customer use point and reloading the returned empty cylinders to the vehicle.
- Driving represents approximately 30 % of the day, the remaining portion of the day includes delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders/paperwork, customer contact, vehicle AM and PM inspections
- You will accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered andpicked up
- Complete Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations
- Placard vehicle according to required hazardous material regulations and Lindestandards
- You will conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for vehicle repairs and/or maintenance and ensure it is accomplished on time
- Processes medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
- Performs visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are required
- You will check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product]
- Loadsand unloads product from weekly shuttle truck
- Operate sand maintains cylinder scales and associated equipment
- Prepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keysinto the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order tojustify the stock inventory
- Complete sand maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
- You will operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
- High School Degree/G.E.D. is required
- You have 2years driving experience or have completed a course of instruction from atruck driver training school that operates equipment similar to Linde's
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations inthe past 2 years
- You have noalcohol related convictions within the last 10 years
- Acurrent medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to pass a DOT physical
- Valid class A/B CDL is required
- Current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
- You have 2+yrs. experience in plant or manufacturing environment preferred
- You can readand write in English
- You are 21years or older
