Driver - Cylinder

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will providea high standard of Customer Service while delivering, which includes unloading of products and movement to customer use point and reloading the returned empty cylinders to the vehicle.
• Driving represents approximately 30 % of the day, the remaining portion of the day includes delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders/paperwork, customer contact, vehicle AM and PM inspections
• You will accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered andpicked up
• Complete Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations
• Placard vehicle according to required hazardous material regulations and Lindestandards
• You will conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for vehicle repairs and/or maintenance and ensure it is accomplished on time
• Processes medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
• Performs visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are required
• You will check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product]
• Loadsand unloads product from weekly shuttle truck
• Operate sand maintains cylinder scales and associated equipment
• Prepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keysinto the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order tojustify the stock inventory
• Complete sand maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
• You will operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles

• High School Degree/G.E.D. is required
• You have 2years driving experience or have completed a course of instruction from atruck driver training school that operates equipment similar to Linde's
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations inthe past 2 years
• You have noalcohol related convictions within the last 10 years
• Acurrent medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to pass a DOT physical
• Valid class A/B CDL is required
• Current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
• You have 2+yrs. experience in plant or manufacturing environment preferred
• You can readand write in English
• You are 21years or older
