Manufacturing Specialist

The successful candidate will acquire hands-on skills and experience and apply them to routinely manufacture Vespel(R) products. The Specialist will be responsible for the manufacturing process from raw materials through final inspection and release to the ultimate customer.
** Job Responsibilities
*** Support operations in safety, quality, continuous improvement, personnel, and supply chain initiatives.
* Perform press setup and operation, including tooling installation/removal, material handling, and process documentation.
* Perform machining activities including turning, milling, coring, and machine setup.
* Study work orders, prints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
* Troubleshoot and rework machined parts when required.
* Operate ovens and related processes, including cycle verification and documentation.
* Conduct final inspection and release of finished parts.
* Carry out basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
* Responsible for maintaining shift-to-shift communication and documentation.
* Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
* Working safely and complying with 5S requirements is a must.

* Job Requirements:

*** Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent
* Able to perform rotating shift work
* Good interpersonal and communications skills
* Preferably Technicians specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive, Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool &Die/Welding) or equivalent
