Registered Professional Nurse

Overview

• Registered Nurse - Part-Time — Cardinal O'Hara High School.
  
  Hours:
  
  7:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. (Monday through Friday), 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week, 10 month duty schedule.
• Registered Nurse - Full-Time — Hoover Complex.
  
  Hours:
  
  8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday), 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week, 10 month duty schedule.

• Good knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures and terminology.
• Good knowledge of the principles and practices of public and child health.
• Ability to get along well with children.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relations with teachers and the general public.
• Sound professional judgment; initiative and resourcefulness; dependability; good physical condition.
• First aid, medication administration, management of chronic conditions, evaluation of immunization status, completion of state mandated reporting, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Pediatric/adolescent nursing experience.
• Tact; good communication skills, computer and technical healthcare skills, patience, flexibility.
• Must be certified CPR/AED.
