UBMD Neurology’s Alzheimer Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting. This role assists individuals with neurological and cognitive conditions by delivering hands‑on nursing care, coordinating treatment plans, and supporting patients and families through education and clear communication.

The RN plays a key role in ensuring efficient clinic operations while promoting high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

• Triage patient concerns and support follow‑up on testing, referrals, and care needs
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and neurological conditions
• Support high‑risk patients through coordinated care and ongoing communication

• Perform clinical procedures including:
  • IV insertion and removal
  • Venipuncture
  • Monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Medication documentation
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper handling

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assist with patient flow and support efficient outpatient clinic operations
• Monitor medical supplies and ensure emergency equipment is functioning properly

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Current New York State RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (outpatient experience preferred)
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient support skills
