Locum Jobs Online  is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Gastroenterology NP in Bronx, New York, 10451.

Join a collaborative healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner (Gastroenterology), providing advanced patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings. This role includes comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and procedural support, with a welcoming environment for new graduates.

Compensation: $135,000 – $150,000 annually

• Perform physical exams and obtain comprehensive medical histories
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic imaging
• Assist physicians with GI procedures (colonoscopies, endoscopies, conscious sedation)
• Manage medications and provide vaccinations
• Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nutritionists, and specialists
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR/EHR documentation

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Family or Adult/Geriatric)
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)

• GI experience (not required)
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Bilingual Spanish skills
