Qualifications:

• Active RN license required; LPN/LVN with school-based experience also considered
• Previous experience in school health or pediatric care preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Comfortable working as the sole healthcare provider during student transport
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring, observant demeanor

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accompany and supervise one student on the school bus during morning and afternoon routes (6:45-8:45 AM and 12:45-3:45 PM)
• Monitor for any signs or symptoms of seizure activity, remaining alert and ready to respond if needed
• Provide basic nursing care or emergency interventions per the student's care plan
• Collaborate proactively with school staff and the student's family to maintain consistent and effective care
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily observations and any interventions
