Position: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Nurse Aide, days

Job Overview

We are hiring dedicated, compassionate CNAs, Nurse Aides, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street/Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga). Willingness to work additional shifts as needed.

Full‑time CNA/Nurse Aide position working 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with additional shifts available as needed.

  • Schedule:

    Week 1 – Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday;
    Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday.
  • Hourly pay rate $16.50–$21.83, commensurate with certification, experience, and internal equity.
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, person‑centered direct care to elder Franciscan sisters, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transportation, and restorative care.
  • Document care as required and communicate with residents, families, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
  • Assist and collaborate with nursing staff on the ongoing needs of residents according to established standards.
  • Support the religious life of sisters by fostering a warm and caring convent environment through meaningful interpersonal interactions.
Education & Experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state is a plus but not required.
  • Long‑term resident care or home care experience preferred but not required.
