Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Rate: $34/hour Shift: Full-Time, Part-Time (No Per-Diem Available)
Schedule: All Shifts
The McGuire Group Facilities are looking to add Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to their nursing team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and help ensure the safety, comfort, and well‑being of residents. As a TMG Float Pool LPN, you’ll have the opportunity to work with diverse teams, support residents in different settings, and enjoy the stability of a consistent employer while experiencing variety in your day‑to‑day role.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies
- Administer medications, treatments, enteral feedings, and IV therapies within the LPN scope of practice
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to providers, supervisors, and responsible parties
- Accurately document care, treatments, observations, and medication administration
- Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care
- Maintain up‑to‑date resident care information and communicate pertinent information during shift changes
- Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing responsibilities as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's Degree preferred - Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
- Current CPR Certification required
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medication administration, infection control, and resident care practices
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
