About This Role

The Director of Ambulatory Clinics is responsible for setting strategic direction, providing leadership, and driving successful business models for top-quality Ambulatory Services at Golisano Children's Hospital. This role requires extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the hospital.

• Set strategic direction for Ambulatory Services.
• Provide leadership and drive successful business models.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and long‑term strategic directions.
• Interact with institutional and community physicians, nurses, and administrators.
• Serve as the Hospital Liaison with Corporate functions.
• Act as the primary interface with community and faculty physicians.
• Improve patient, employee, and physician satisfaction for Ambulatory Services.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Promote effective leadership and team building.
• Encourage accountability, responsibility, and decision-making in team members.

• BS – Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• MS – Masters of Science in Nursing preferred
• Specialty Nursing Certification preferred

• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in clinical practice management or hospital administration

• Current RN License in New York
