Practice of an Advanced Practice Provider / Nurse Practitioner may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice, in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved, provided such services are performed in accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols. The provider adheres to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.
Education& Credentials
- Completion of masters, post‑masters or doctorate NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN required.
- Current active RN and NP license in NYS required.
- National NP certification required.
- Internal hire:
Required upon transfer into new position. - External hire:
Required at the time of application. Current BLS and ACLS required. - DEA or DEA eligible required.
- Agreement from appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement required.
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
- 1 year experience as NP or
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in specialty area of practice (i.e., MICU, SICU, NSICU, CVICU, ED) as RN or NP preferred.
Position covers the SICU and the ILCU.

Salary Range: $65.04 – $81.78 per hour
• Pay Frequency:
Bi‑Weekly. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
