Job Description
Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, implementing and evaluating educational programs for professionals and paraprofessionals who provide direct patient care and/or are involved in patient-related activities. Participates in education related to system-wide activities and clinical programs throughout Kaleida Health. Consults and makes recommendations related to educational needs, competencies, and activities to other departments.
Education and Credentials- Associate's degree in Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Registered Nurse regulatory required upon hire
- BLS regulatory required upon hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Kaleida Health required upon hire
- Childbirth Education certification Kaleida Health Required upon hire
- Certification as a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) Kaleida Health required upon hire
- Certification as International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) preferred upon hired
- 2 years of experience in Maternity required.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.

Bi-Weekly, Salary Range: $45.08 - $57.69 (wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement).
