Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Rate: $18.21–$21.90 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule:

Days, evenings, overnights, every other weekend

Garden Gate Health Care Facility, located in Cheektowaga, NY, is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA to provide hands‑on care and support to residents, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life. • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Safely transfer, transport, and reposition residents using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Obtain and record vital signs and weights as directed.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and restorative nursing activities.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide high‑quality resident care.
• Perform additional duties within the CNA scope of practice as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required).
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or with a geriatric population (preferred).
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
