Registered Professional Nurse PT - Charter School for Applied Technologies

Nurse Position

Hours:

7:30 a.m.

- 2:30 p.m. 10 month duty schedule

Note:

This is a 2 day per week position Wednesday & Friday

Recruiting Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Good knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures and terminology; good knowledge of the principles and practices of public and child health; ability to get along well with children; ability to establish and maintain cooperative relations with teachers and the general public; sound professional judgment; initiative and resourcefulness; dependability, good physical condition.

Experience and Training:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, valid license and registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of New York and current CPR/AED certification.

Duties of Assignment:
First aid, medication administration, management of chronic conditions; hearing, vision, scoliosis screening, evaluation of immunization status; and any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Special

Qualifications:

Pediatric experience, technologically proficient; flexible with assignment.
