• We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident‑focused, quality care for the elder Franciscan sisters.
• A Part‑time Nurse Aide/CNA position on afternoons (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street / Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga).

• The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 - $21.00 for Nurse Aides and CNAs. Wages/pay rate will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate’s relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.

• Provide direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
• Document care for our sisters as required and communicate with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
• Assist and collaborate with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
• Work with all departments to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to a warm and caring convent environment.
• Engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and maintain meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
• Maintain teamwork and partnerships among all departments to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a plus but not required.
• Long‑term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
