Summary:
The Registered Professional Primary Care Center Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to the ages of patient’s served based on the areas of clinical practice. Maintains environmental and infection control standards. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital/staff.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current New York State Licensure
- Relevant / current out-patient experience preferred in pediatrics, OB/GYN, and/or Medicine, depending on location and services offered at site
- Minimum of 3 (three) years experience in a primary care setting with telephone triage management skills
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Successful completion of pharmacy test
- Ability to evaluate acute/ non-acute situations;
- Possess a problem-solving approach and apply good judgment
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to work well in stressful situations and conditions of frequent interruption
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
