Job Summary:
As an Assisted Living RN at Mary Agnes Manor, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. Located on the beautiful and historic D'Youville Campus in Buffalo, NY, we offer a wide range of services and programs designed to support our residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to assisted living residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and monitoring health status
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
Conduct routine health assessments and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and effective patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to improve patient care and outcomes
Assisted Living RN duties may also include leading and mentoring staff, developing policies and procedures, and participating in local and national industry conferences and meetings
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of New York
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Must be available Nights, Weekends and Overnights
