Manager LTC Nursing Unit

About This Role

The Manager of the LTC Nursing Unit provides leadership to the nursing care team, ensuring quality care for residents in a Long Term Care facility. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are committed to improving patient outcomes.

• Location: Buffalo, NY
• Facility: High Pointe
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Provide leadership to the nursing care team 24/7.
• Assess resident needs and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Manage operations, including hiring and terminating staff.
• Discipline and counsel staff as necessary.
• Oversee clinical and skilled nursing activities to ensure quality resident care.
• Responsible for quality improvement outcomes and activities of the unit.

Education:

• Associates degree required. BS - Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in a clinical setting required.
• 1 year of experience in clinical leadership required.
• 1 year of experience in specific clinical service line of assigned department required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse upon hire required.
