Role Description

Full-time, on-site Quality Control Inspector role based in Buffalo, NY. The Quality Control Inspector will perform in-process and final inspections on components and finished heat transfer products using measuring tools, gauges, and documented standards. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product conformity, documenting inspection results, and identifying nonconformances. The role will collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

The inspector will maintain accurate quality records, help ensure compliance with company and industry standards, and participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Quality Control and Inspection activities, including using measurement tools and checking products against specifications.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, such as documenting nonconformances and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strong Communication skills for working with production, engineering, and quality teams and clearly documenting inspection findings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably metal fabrication or similar production settings.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow standardized procedures consistently.
  • Basic computer skills for using quality management systems and standard office software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in quality or inspection are a plus.
