Location, Shift, and Compensation
Buffalo, NY. 2nd shift hours 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (will train on 1st shift). Pay: $23‑$26 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections of raw materials, in‑process parts, and finished goods using hand tools, gauges, and measurement equipment.
- Review products for visual defects, dimensional accuracy, and functional performance.
- Document inspection findings accurately, including non‑conformances and deviations.
- Complete and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA).
- Monitor production processes for adherence to quality standards.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors, engineers, and production teams.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated and properly maintained.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree a plus.
- 3‑5 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift certification (or ability to become certified) is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Experience with non‑conformance tracking and CAPA.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) or other quality tools.
