Overview

GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product. Our scope spans engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.

• Develop and maintain inspection reports
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
• Perform inspections across all stages of production
• Prepare and maintain test data for review
• Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
• Other duties as assigned by the QA Manager

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Solid understanding of measuring, inspection and test equipment
• Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience in the metals fabrication industry
• Visual weld and welding inspection experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
• Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. (minimum required visual acuity - 20/20 corrected or uncorrected)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and fabrication drawings

• Associate or bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector - CWI
