About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Food Safety & Quality Lead and play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality initiatives, implement robust systems, and support continuous improvement efforts. You will be taking lead on all heavy metal laws and requirements for baby/toddler food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality audits and inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with HACCP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and internal protocols.
  • Implement SQF certifications.
  • Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues using analysis skills to determine root causes and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Coordinate quality assurance activities including calibration of measurement tools and validation of manufacturing processes.
  • Facilitate training sessions on quality systems, safety standards, and inspection procedures for team members.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP, FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and related compliance standards.
  • Hands‑on experience with quality audits, inspections, and data collection techniques.
  • 5+ Years of food manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor's in Food Science.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision‑making purposes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure adherence to quality protocols.
