Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer ensures that manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and quality management processes comply with internal requirements, customer expectations, and ISO 9001:2015 standards. The role supports daily operations by driving timely resolution of quality issues, maintaining the Quality Management System, and leading continuous improvement across machining, assembly, inspection, and supplier interfaces through structured problem analysis, process audits, corrective actions, and effective cross-functional communication.
- Support manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and quality management processes to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer expectations, supplier requirements, and ISO 9001:2015 through effective process controls, quality plans, and documented procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal, supplier, product, and component audit systems, including planning, execution, follow up, and closure of risks, nonconformities, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and support resolution of quality issues across internal operations, suppliers, customers, and the field, including containment actions, RMAs, sorting activities, warranty and field failure investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention of recurrence using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D).
- Drive quality management innovation activities, including continuous quality improvement initiatives, quality performance measurement, trend and data analysis, and evaluation of process and system effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance to customer specific and divisional quality requirements, including execution and oversight of PPAP and SESPA activities for new products, process changes, supplier changes, or customer defined quality deliverables.
- Collaborate cross functionally with operations, engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to improve product and process robustness, support continuous improvement, and enhance overall business performance.
- Maintain accurate and audit ready quality documentation and records, including procedures, reports, metrics, and corrective action records, to support compliance, traceability, management review, and decision making.

Education level:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related field, (or equivalent experience).
Relevant previous experience:
- 5+ years of experience across multiple quality functions in a process-driven manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), inspection methods, and manufacturing quality controls. Experience supporting or conducting internal, supplier, product, and component audits, including planning through closure. Experience managing quality issues across internal operations, suppliers, and customers, including containment and corrective actions. Experience documenting, presenting, and communicating quality information for audits, management reviews, and decision-making.
Language skills:
- Able to communicate in English
Knowledge Areas/Skills - Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ability to apply requirements to manufacturing, inspection, supplier, and customer processes. Proficiency in quality and process improvement tools, including 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving methods. Understanding of customer-specific and divisional quality requirements, including PPAP and SESPA deliverables for new products and changes. Ability to evaluate and demonstrate process and system effectiveness using objective evidence and data.
Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation. Familiarity with statistical analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical quality information across cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Safety, etc.).
Other skills and knowledge:
- Self-directed, organized, and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams. Good communication, team working and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
