The Office of Biomedical Research (O ) within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is seeking a Research Programs & Digital Strategy Coordinator who is highly organized and capable of managing information across multiple concurrent initiatives. The coordinator will leverage their scientific background to support O programs by developing, curating, and maintaining structured written and digital content that serves both internal stakeholders and selected external audiences.
This role supports continuity, accuracy, and strategic organization of scientific and programmatic information while also contributing to outward-facing communications that highlight research infrastructure, training programs, and career pathways, particularly in support of MD-PhD recruitment, trainee engagement, and alumni awareness. The hire will ensure O initiatives are clearly documented, consistently represented, and appropriately visible.
Research Content & Program Communications- Develop clear, accurate written materials highlighting O initiatives, core facilities, trainee milestones, new capabilities, and research infrastructure for internal use and external visibility.
- Translate scientific concepts, core technologies, research workflows, and program achievements into accessible written content suitable for internal audiences, prospective trainees, alumni, and research-facing external stakeholders.
- Contribute to outward-facing communications that support MD-PhD program awareness and recruitment, including curated website content, online courses, program summaries, and selectively shared written content via institutional and program social media channels.
- Collaborate with cores, labs, and departments to plan and promote training opportunities, equipment demonstrations, and workshops.
- Assist with the development of written materials related to shared instrumentation, research infrastructure, training programs, or scientific conferences (e.g., equipment justifications, resource descriptions, program narratives).
- Maintain O and MD-PhD Program webpages to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with institutional standards.
- Post announcements, training opportunities, internal resources, and program updates in a timely and consistent manner.
- Assist with internal reports, strategic planning materials, program descriptions, and research-facing documentation.
- Support MD-PhD alumni engagement through periodic communications, updates, and content development.
