R&D Tech Lead – Melville, NY

A site‑based role. The individual's main responsibilities are:

• Ensure seamless operations in Research Park – Melville, across 8 laboratories and the pilot plant. This translates to being the application owner of >50 apps that are single‑instance and linked to R&D equipment in Melville as well as other related applications.
• Work with the FSEs to make sure the R&D‑specific local infrastructure (>200 lab workstations and several on‑prem servers) is operational and GxP compliant.
• Collaborate with Data and Analytics to ensure that the data produced by the R&D equipment is properly captured, stored, curated, and auditable.
• Maintain substantial interaction with all R&D lab heads and on‑prem scientists, 5 days a week, troubleshooting on a daily basis and liaising with vendors/owners of the R&D lab apps.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years in R&D knowledge, understanding R&D workflows, vendors, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with product/tools vendors and facilitating implementation and upgrades, with awareness of GXP, IQ, OQ, PQ, infrastructure, security, and compliance. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and GXP implications is essential.

Compensation varies by location. Annual salary ranges:

• California: $94,400 to $266,300
• Cleveland: $87,400 to $213,000
• Colorado: $94,400 to $230,000
• District of Columbia: $100,500 to $245,000
• Illinois: $87,400 to $230,000
• Maine: $80,400 to $196,000
• Maryland: $94,400 to $230,000
• Massachusetts: $94,400 to $245,000
• Minnesota: $94,400 to $230,000
• New York: $87,400 to $266,300
• New Jersey: $100,500 to $266,300
• Virginia: $87,400 to $245,000
• Washington: $100,500 to $245,000
