Position Summary
The laboratory of Dr. Daesung Shin at SUNY, Buffalo NY, is seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join our team dedicated to the basic and translational research of lysosomal diseases and neuroinflammation. The lab is located on the South Campus and provides access to cutting‑edge resources and core facilities. Potential projects include the characterization of novel mutant animal and cell culture models to study the cell autonomous effect of lysosomal enzyme deficiency in both central and peripheral nervous systems, and the elucidation of anti‑inflammatory mechanisms.
Applicants should have demonstrated outstanding performance throughout their previous studies, with their own publications, and the successful candidate is highly motivated, exceptionally organized, a strong team player, and possesses good communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications- A recent . degree with background in molecular and cell biology is essential.
- Experience in mouse genetics and histology is a plus.
- A neuroscientific background is not necessary but is a plus.
$52,000. The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
