Our special event rooms showcase the best waterfront view in Buffalo and can host anywhere from 60-250 guests year-round.

At Templeton Landing you will be an integral part of our team in helping to provide our guests with a best-in-class experience while experiencing respect and integrity in a diverse work environment.

• Possess a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks accurately, quickly, and without waste.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages.
• Serve drinks and food to bar guests.
• Observe guests to respond to their needs and ensure total guest satisfaction by serving all items in a friendly and timely manner.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication of guests and handling an intoxicated guest.
• Participate in and pass alcohol awareness and safety training classes.
• Stock and prepare garnishes for drinks.
• Maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies where needed.
• Collect payment and operate Toast POS computer quickly and efficiently.
• Balance and secure all moneys at the end of shift.
• Must be dressed neatly and well groomed in clean, Company approved uniform at all times.
• Must be able to operate Toast P.O.S. computer, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions.

• Medium work. Includes exerting approx. 30 lbs several times per shift.
• Walking and standing during a 6-8 hour shift.

• Must be able to pass bar training and validation process.
• 2+ years experience in a Bartending role required.

• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.

Education Preferred:
High School or better.

Experience

Required:

2+ years:
Bartending

Food Handler Certificate (Will provide training to obtain certification);
Alcohol Awareness Certificate (Will provide training to obtain certification).

Salary: $18.00 per hour
