Assistant Store Manager

Lead daily store operations, inspire your team, and help turn donations into opportunity - every single day.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the Store Manager in leading all areas of store operations, customer service, production, and people development
  • Step in and perform all Store Manager duties in their absence - modeling professionalism and leadership
  • Execute operational plans to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget goals
  • Train, develop, and coach team members; reinforce strong customer service and production standards
  • Reinforce high customer service standards and ensure a welcoming, mission aligned environment
  • Assist with scheduling and developing team capabilities to meet production expectations
  • Monitor donation levels and request merchandise from the warehouse to meet sales targets
  • Become proficient in all areas of production and store operations
  • Uphold HR, safety, loss prevention, and compliance standards at all times
  • Prepare and review required store reports and participate in staff meetings and huddles

What You Bring
  • At least 1 year of retail experience
  • Reliable vehicle and valid NYS driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership abilities and professionalism under pressure
  • Passion for service and developing others
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Sit, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks (tagging, hanging)
  • Lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $20-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications
