Tops Markets is accepting applications for current and future part-time openings. A brief description of each department is listed below. Tops has a history of promoting from within, and all full-time positions are posted internally first. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Front End – The final point of contact with our customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your main responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression on our customers.

Bakery – Slice, price, package, and display baked goods; ensure product is stocked, rotated, and stored properly.

Pharmacy – Assist in providing health-related services. Retrieve medications, label containers, enter data, maintain records, and ensure security and proper stocking of supplies.

Deli / Carryout Cafe – Fulfill customer requests for deli and prepared foods, slice deli meats/cheeses, prepare products, and ensure proper storage and display.

General Merchandise – Stock shelves, create and maintain displays, organize the backroom, and manage non-food items including seasonal products.

Grocery – Stock shelves, create displays, and organize the backroom for grocery products.

Meat – Stock, store, and prepare meat products. Certified meat cutters or apprentices will ensure quality cuts and proper processing.

Produce – Stock, store, and prepare produce, fulfill customer orders for fruit/vegetable platters, baskets, etc.

Seafood – Stock, store, and prepare seafood, fulfill customer requests, and answer questions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and staff.
