As a Lovesac Sales Associate, you will create a welcoming in‑store experience, help customers design our products to fit their style and space, and build lasting relationships. This role focuses on sustainability, product evolution, and customer service excellence.
What You’ll Do- Actively engage with customers using Lovesac selling techniques.
- Achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Provide attentive service to all customers and build loyalty.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively demo, assist, and educate customers.
- Guide the customer from first interest to purchase, managing quotes, closing the sale, and maintaining relationships.
- Conduct customer outreach using company‑provided tools and communication methods.
- Quickly identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards.
- Oversee store operations including opening and closing, inventory, exchanges, marketing, and promotions.
- Utilize company tools, sales data, and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring standards, minimizing risks, and maintaining safety in the store.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High‑School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer‑service role.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support, including demonstrating products and using internal CRM systems.
- Flexible to assist in‑person or remotely in local stores, third‑party vendors, and remote customer‑service shifts.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions and customer data.
- Effective communication skills and conflict‑management ability.
- Must be able to lift and move medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds and perform required physical tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, and climbing.
