Position Summary

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness.

You will be on the front lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience.

Be a Team Member:
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the products, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, provide customer service, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels and control shrinkage in a timely manner.

Be an Expert:
Understand processes and specifications related to produce quality, prepare products according to established standards, maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines, and adhere to applicable laws and company policies.

Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, use handheld technology for immediate business decisions, and encourage colleagues to adopt new tools.

Be an Owner:
Drive area performance, use perpetual inventory management, ensure quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, guide peers and assist customers.

Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, execute basics at the highest possible level and exhibit energy, commitment and passion for the work.

Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
