General FunctionThe Store Manager is an on‑the‑floor leader who performs all store functions and serves as a guide and role model for the team. They coach, develop, and inspire the team so that each associate delivers the Sunglass Hut Experience. The Store Manager creates an environment where everyone delivers great service.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Utilize The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives.
- Drive sales by continually identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
- Lead by example, coaching, developing, mentoring and inspiring the team to enhance store performance.
- Employ a people‑first philosophy to grow careers, encourage teamwork and retain talent through a development‑focused environment.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff using onboarding tools provided as part of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Inspire team growth through individual development plans.
- Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects brand integrity.
- Build emotional connections within the store team that translate into sales and ensure every associate delivers The Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Continuously coach and develop the team to ensure consistent and absolute execution of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
- Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand.
- Build the Sunglass Hut brand by consistently executing brand standards.
- Stay adept at product knowledge and stay curious about new merchandise and fashion trends.
- Ensure impeccable execution of operational policies and procedures, and maintain brand standards.
- Communicate information regarding promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous leadership experience of 2+ years.
- Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operations.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Ability to use critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of operational components.
- Customer service and/or retail experience.
18.45 - 27.96
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a first‑class total rewards package.
