GENERAL FUNCTION
The Store Manager is an on‑the‑floor leader who performs all store functions and serves as a guide and role model for the team. Coaches, develops, and inspires associates so every team member delivers the Sunglass Hut Experience.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Utilizes the Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives.
- Drives sales by identifying opportunities to achieve both personal and store goals.
- Leads by example, coaching, developing, mentoring and inspiring the team to enhance store performance.
- Employs a people‑first philosophy to grow careers, encourage teamwork, and retain talent through a development‑focused environment.
- Recruits, hires, and trains staff using onboarding tools provided as part of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Creates an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects the brand’s integrity.
- Builds emotional connections within the store team that translate into sales and ensures every associate delivers the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Continually coaches and develops the team to ensure consistent absolute execution of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Develops customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
- Acts as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand.
- Builds the Sunglass Hut brand by consistently executing brand standards.
- Stays current on product knowledge and emerging merchandise and fashion trends.
- Ensures impeccable execution of operational policies, procedures, and maintains brand standards.
- Communicates information regarding promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous leadership experience of 2+ years.
- Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Ability to use critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of operational components.
- Customer service and/or retail experience.
Pay Range: 18.45–27.96
This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
