Overview
Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is searching for a Territory Manager to join our collaborative, innovative, and close-knit Northeast sales team. This position will support upstate New York and Vermont, servicing existing customers as well as new prospective customers. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam-, rubber-, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business.

- Assisting customers with product knowledge and training
- Representing products at trade shows and other similar functions
- Collaborating with manufacturing facilities
- Supporting the customer service team
- Managing account pricing
- Resolving account and credit issues
- Expanding sales
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of successful sales experience (outside sales preferred)
- A Bachelor’s degree if no direct sales experience, preferably a Bachelor’s in a business-related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Overnight travel as needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in flooring industry
