Private Client Manager, Northeast

Summary

The Private Client Manager, Northeast builds and leverages relationships within the U.S. high-net-worth connoisseur community to recruit clients and drive depletions and sales for the MHUSA portfolio, with a focus on Hennessy. The role develops and executes client acquisition strategies, curates luxury experiences and events, and partners with Brand, Finance, and Private Client teams to meet sales and depletion KPIs. This is a remote‑in‑NY role requiring frequent in‑market travel.

• Recruit and onboard high‑net‑worth clients and VICs to expand market presence and drive repeat purchasing.
• Generate $1M in sales revenue across the assigned portfolio through strategic account management and business development.
• Plan, curate, and host elevated consumer experiences and client‑facing events in collaboration with Brand and Education teams.
• Identify strategic partnerships and opportunities to maximize brand exposure and leverage resources.
• Establish and monitor sales and depletion KPIs, manage CRM records, allocations, and A&P budgets with Finance and Sales partners.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of luxury sales experience combining marketing and brand management; existing U.S. HNWI network preferred.
• Extensive technical knowledge of high‑end wines, spirits, and competitors; strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills; diplomacy and ability to engage UHNW clients.
• Ability to travel frequently in‑market, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to lift up to 20lbs;
  Mandarin fluency preferred.
