David Haggins — Director of Sales. Base: $22.00 an hour plus uncapped commissions.
Are you energized by new places, new people, and a role that keeps you out from behind a desk? We’re looking for a Producing Lead – Direct Sales Associate to be both a leader and a top‑performing field sales professional. You’ll work side‑by‑side with your sales team, actively engaging residents in the field (door‑to‑door), educating them on the benefits of fiber internet, and helping them get connected.
In addition to your own sales responsibilities, you’ll assist in leading the team—coaching, motivating, and setting the pace and standards for success in your region.
- Actively generate new customer sign‑ups through canvassing (door‑to‑door) using a consultative sales strategy, including hanging door hangers and distributing marketing materials.
- Serve as an in‑field leader and example‑setter by consistently hitting sales goals.
- Assist in leading and motivating a team of Direct Sales Associates—supporting their development, providing on‑the‑spot coaching, and helping manage daily operations in the region.
- Represent the Fast Bridge Fiber brand with enthusiasm and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Deliver clear, compelling pitches about our fiber service, pricing plans, and benefits.
- Drive grassroots engagement by building rapport within the community and identifying local opportunities for outreach and events.
- Required participation in local community events, pop‑up events, guerrilla marketing tactics, and marketing programs to drive awareness of Fast Bridge Fiber and grow our customer base.
- Help onboard and mentor new team members as needed.
- Provide feedback to management on team performance, local challenges, and customer needs.

- No sales experience required but must be highly motivated to earn money and have a great attitude.
- Active listener with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven history of excellent customer service values and commitment.
- Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently.
- Superior time management skills to hit sales targets within specific periods.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to gracefully handle rejection and counter objections in a consultative manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; event participation is required.
- Neat personal appearance and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods while meeting and talking to potential customers.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Train new Direct Sales Associates. Interview Direct Sales Associate Candidates. Mentor team members. Assist Director of Revenue with assigned tasks. Engage with prospective customers face‑to‑face which includes canvassing (door‑to‑door) using a consultative sales strategy. Explain the differences between Fast Bridge Fiber and the competition. Follow up with customers that have activated to ensure their satisfaction and gain insight and feedback to be shared with the team.
Be proactive in following up on all leads. Monitor competition in your area to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
