Job Description
(This is a heavy travel position covering the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic. Selected person will be required to travel approx. 50% of the time or more and must live in the territory.)

In This Outside Sales Role, You WillLearn the Products
Gain in‑depth knowledge of Victaulic’s products and solutions, supported by an extensive training program.
Understand the Industry
Learn about grooved mechanical pipe‑joining methods, competitor methods (welding, flanging), construction cycles, major projects, market trends, and integrate into local trade organizations.
Understand the Business
Work with your Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan, including opportunity mapping, sales goals, and product promotion plans. Execute all phases of project pursuit and management from inception to after‑sale follow‑up.
Build Strong Relationships
Develop trust with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners. Maintain contact, including after‑hours and weekend engagements such as dinners or events. Partner with Victaulic distributors and coordinate with other representatives and specialists.
Educate and Influence
Educate customers on the value and value‑added benefits of Victaulic’s products. Conduct on‑site demos, training, and lunch‑and‑learn sessions to influence decision‑makers.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; extensive sales experience in value‑added products, preferably in the commercial construction, PVF (pipes, valves, fittings), or mechanical products sectors.
- Strong sales track record and history of cultivating long‑term relationships.
- Self‑motivated, flexible, resilient, with excellent problem‑solving, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in varied weather conditions.
- Strong background in Civil / Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License (not required).
- Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver technical messages.
