Due to internal growth, Lawley is in search of a Specialty Insurance Marketer/Account Manager for our commercial team in Buffalo, NY. We are open to a fully remote schedule for the right candidate! This position will submit, negotiate and place new business and renewal accounts with specialty insurance clients. This position also conducts consultative conversations with their commercial client base and establishes and maintains carrier relationships.
The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience in a similar or related position and extensive relevant insurance knowledge. Components of the Job
- Submit, negotiate and place new business and renewal accounts with specialty clients.
- Cultivate a positive customer service relationship and two‑way communication.
- Identify competitive markets and submit internal and/or external markets for quotes.
- Prepare organized summaries and quotes for all markets within deadlines.
- Cross‑sell to other coverage lines and up‑sell accounts as appropriate.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tasks in computer system.
- Act as a resource for specialty coverages for the agency.
- At least six years of experience in a similar or related position.
- Property/Casualty License; designations preferred.
- Relevant knowledge of specialty insurance products, coverages and insurance documents.
- Microsoft Office experience and skills are a must; EPIC experience highly desired.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team.
- Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Open to continuing education; college degree preferred.
- Positive attitude, even in a fast‑paced environment.

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including, but not limited to, years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range; the current estimate is $67,415.78 to $.
