Alkegen has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our Mobility team! This key role is highly visible and supports our sales leaders and SIOP in North America. We are looking for an experienced and well‑organized sales coordinator to provide support to our Mobility team. The North America sales coordinator will assist in the day‑to‑day functions to oversee sales, support our sales team, support SIOP team with forecast/orders/shipments and coordinate prototype samples to ensure we meet our mission, promote customer satisfaction and support our business growth.
Responsibilities- Sales oversight / Resales
- Maintain relationships with internal Alkegen sites.
- Meet with plants to discuss requirements, scheduling production of parts, and make sure PO in system for incoming orders.
- Record and monitor incoming containers and shipment progress, send incoming to receiving, assist with quality issues as necessary.
- Confirm inventory – In stock / In route / requested.
- Help improve on‑time delivery and support corrective action.
- Support back‑order and OTIF delivery review and reporting.
- Support SIOP
- Support SIOP with Capacity/Demand forecasting.
- Support SIOP with raw material usage and inventory.
- Support different activities with material shipment between different sites.
- Prototype Sample Management
- Coordinate sample order process, prioritizing and ensuring on‑time shipment.
- Conduct review to drive improvement and awareness, share updates/changes with team on a weekly basis.
- Keep eyes on non‑standard part/samples and communicate details with plant.
- Update the prototype tracking dashboard on a monthly basis.
- Manage/coordinate samples to support product development activities.
- Sales Support Team
- Assist with sales inquiries.
- Provide support to sales team inquiries with sales data, report, quote, forecasting, samples, etc.
- Provide support and follow up with cross‑functional team and ensure pending items are on track.
- Respond to internal / customer inquiries with requested information.
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in customer service or sales support role, demonstrated customer and people skills.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working within a cross‑functional team with interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be detail‑oriented, strong attention to details.
- Experience extracting and loading data from ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Be proactive, self‑directed and goal‑oriented.
- Ability to react quickly to a fast‑paced market, capable of handling multiple priorities.
- International logistics experience preferred.
$69,000 - 79,000 Annually. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
